About The 4th NAMM Conference
The Nigerian Association of Macroeconomic Modelers (NAMM) have the pleasure to invite you to attend the 4th Annual NAMM International Conference that will be held at Ibadan in November 24 – 27, 2025. The theme of the conference is titled Policy Innovations for Economic Recovery, Structural Transformation, and Digital Macroeconomic Modelling.

The global economic landscape vis-à-vis the Nigerian economy has undergone profound transformations and changes in recent years. These have led to set of challenges that have bedevilled the economic development and growth of Nigeria and African economies with inflation and debts, rising unemployment, corruption and ineffective leadership, overreliance on oil, monetary and fiscal policy fluctuations, exchange rates, commodity market and price shocks. The national economy thereby faces multifaceted economic challenges whereas strategic interventions leveraging on macroeconomics and data science can pave the way for a more robust and inclusive socio-economic development.
The 4th Annual NAMM International conference 2025 aims at emphasizing the pressing need for robust macroeconomic modelling to guide Nigeria and African economies development amidst economic challenges and global instability while addressing the need for reliable data, statistical capacity building and data-informed policy making to foster a resilient economy. The conference optimizes the need to building a resilient and robust economic landscape amidst global uncertainties through macroeconomic modelling and quality data science.
